A Bold New Era for Pin Box

One of the most significant challenges we've encountered since our inception has been managing international shipping costs. While we've made every effort to minimize these expenses, there comes a point where further reduction becomes impossible.

In response to your feedback, we've noticed a recurring question: "Can I get the pin by itself?" Whether for wearing, displaying without the box, or simply due to a lack of interest in the box, we've heard your concerns.

We're thrilled to announce that we will soon offer an alternative option: pins on cards! These cards emulate the appearance of our signature boxes, complete with full artwork on the back, just like their box counterparts. Crafted from premium, thick cardstock with a colorful band along the edges, these cards are both visually appealing and lightweight. Check out this early sample next to a traditional box:

We anticipate that this new option will resonate with those who don't require the box or are looking to save on product or shipping costs. As long as our contracts permit, we'll continue to offer card versions and restock them more frequently. In the coming months, we'll introduce card options for previous pins and aim to make them available for the majority of upcoming pin launches, subject to licensor approvals.

Now, let's talk about the boxes…

There's no easy way to say this: Our boxes will soon become limited edition and will feature individual numbering. Before any concerns arise, allow us to explain the reasoning behind this decision. Our products cater to a niche audience and market, which means most of our items only receive a single production run. When we do sell out of a product, it typically occurs after numerous sales and an extended period.

The issue we encounter is the minimum volume requirement for box orders. It's often not cost-effective for us to produce additional boxes, as we would need to sell them at steep discounts, effectively reducing our profits. In essence, our boxes have always been limited edition, albeit without the official label or communication.

Moving forward, we'll be incorporating individual serial numbers into our box designs, as demonstrated here:

Rest assured, open pre-orders will continue to be available, and we'll extend the pre-order window to a full month. This extension will provide ample time and notice for anyone interested in securing their limited edition box. At the end of each month, we'll submit our order volumes, announce the total number of boxes produced, and reveal the corresponding serial numbers. We believe the results might surprise many of you. As always, we'll order extra boxes to account for potential damages or losses, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

We intend to roll this out to all future releases however there are some products that may be too far along in production to make these alterations, this will be subject to licensor approval.

As we continue to evolve and grow, we are making a few adjustments to our pricing structure to ensure the best value for our customers. Starting now, our standard single print T-shirts will be priced at £24.99. We believe this new pricing accurately reflects the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each and every one of our T-shirts.

To provide you with peace of mind and a sense of stability, we are also committing to lock in the pricing for all of our standard products throughout the remainder of 2023. This commitment will help you to better plan your purchases and budget, knowing that the prices of your favorite items will remain consistent for the foreseeable future.

After carefully reviewing your feedback, we have decided to discontinue our Pin Box Versions Initiative. Our initial goal with this offering was to maintain the exceptional quality of our products while making them more accessible. We recognize that this list contains many fan favorites, and our original plan for Pin Box Versions was to ensure their continued availability. As we move forward, we will actively listen to our community and explore alternative ways to offer these beloved items without causing previous purchasers to feel any remorse.
